Pizza Party 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 1
The pizza party is held twice a year
to mark the change to and from Daylight Savings Time. Second Wind
Members celebrate by running at Meadowbrook Park then attending a Pizza Party at the Village Inn. Many
members and their families got together for good food and conversation. View

Annual Awards
7:00 p.m. Friday, January 18 at
the Urbana Civic Center
Every year in January, the Second Wind Running Club honors its members at the
Awards Banquet at the Urbana Civic Center. Members are recognized in the
following categories: runner of the year, master's runners, most improved
runner, 110% effort, new runner, and ultra runner. In addition, the top three
age group winners in the Race Circuit

Speaker Series
Jerry Dunn, America's Marathon Man: Monday, July 30, 2007
Jerry Dunn is best
known for running 200 marathons in 2000. He is the Race Director for the
Deadwood Mickelson Trail Marathon and the Lean Horse Ultramarathon. Almost

Badwater
Ultramarathon, Tracy Thomas and Brian Kuhn: 6:30 p.m. Monday, August 27,
2007.
This Speaker Series will be held
in the upstairs banquet room of The Great Impasta at 114 W. Church Street,
Champaign. Brian and Tracy will discuss their adventures at the 2007
Badwater Ultramarathon. There will also be a slide show of the event.

about them and other fascinating changes in long-distance running over the
past 5 decades. This Speaker Series will be held
