Trail Running This is a trail race, which means that runners may find hidden roots, ruts, sharp turns,  and other obstacles.  The race course follows the river and may contain some slippery areas and mud could be present, depending on the weather on the dates surrounding the race.  Please take care while running.

Entry Limitations:  In order to protect Allerton’s trails, we are limited in the number of runners we can accommodate.  Early registration is strongly recommended.

Charity:  Participants are encouraged to bring a canned-food item for Eastern Illinois Food Bank's "Food for Families" campaign. We ask that all of the runners bring a canned-food donation (ex. soup, ravioli, spaghetti) on the day of the race or at packet pick-up on Saturday before the race.

Packet pick-up:  Saturday, October 25 from noon to 5:00 p.m. at Body ‘n Sole and on race day at Allerton Park from 7:00 to 8:45 a.m.

Brunch:  The Allerton Trail race offers a wonderful post-race brunch, which is made possible by member donations of food.  Please bring baked goods or packaged foods to packet pick-up at Body ‘n Sole or on race day.

Get involved:  There are a wide variety of opportunities for people interested in volunteering.  Please contact the race directors for more information.

Race Day Registration:  No Race Day Registration is available.
