 Second Wind Running Club may provide the
following services to the local (Champaign County) running community. Please
read the Race Planning webpage, before
requesting any of the following services. If
your organization is interested in requesting any of the following
services, please complete the
Race
Assistance Request Form 45 days prior to the scheduled race and email
the form to
Joe Bails.
The following
services are not guaranteed. We reserve the right to limit service
based on availability of equipment or volunteers.

Advertise on
Club website (free)

Pre-registration and data entry ($100)

Race-day
registration ($50)

Course
marshals ($25)

Finish line
equipment only ($50)

Finish line
equipment and results ($75)

Event is responsible for providing volunteers for the
finish line (at least 8 needed)

Computerized Race Results included

Results posted on Club website included

Finish
line equipment and vol. staff ($125)

Race bibs included

additional for team categories or more than two races (ex. 5K, 10K & 5K
walk)
Note:
In addition to the above fees, the club will charge a fee of $1.00 per
registered finisher for its involvement in the race (ex. 150 finishers in a
5K = $150 additional)
Your race director/planning committee is responsible for the following
areas:

Publicity

Giveaways, awards and door prizes

Race bibs

Pre-registration and data entry

Race-day registration

Race day equipment/course set-up

Parking attendants

Starting line set-up and procedure

Aid station(s) set-up and supplies

Medical personnel/public safety

Course marshals

Finish line (SWRC equipment includes: race clock & chute materials)

Coordinating race results (SWRC only provides computerized results using
Time Machines and Race Director computer software)

Publicizing race results (when we do the results)

Course sweep and clean-up
